The Division of the Arts supports sponsorships for guest artists, conferences, screenings, performances, supplies, and other creative initiatives. Our goal is to advance academic research and artistic practice. Priority will be given to interdisciplinary and cross-campus collaborations.
Sponsored projects should include student learning and participation at their core, strengthening the next generation of thinkers and creatives. We recommend that requests fall into a range of $500 – $5,000. Larger requests may be considered based on project scope and impact.
The description should be written in a manner that is understandable to an individual who may not be trained in your professional or academic discipline. We encourage you to include links and other supplemental materials when possible.
A committee considers all submissions on a regular basis and will respond to your request within two weeks.
Applications should be submitted at least three months before your project start date. Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis.
