Stop Motion Animation Workshop

April 7, 2018 @ 11:15 am - 5:00 pm

Free

The Wisconsin Film Festival is thrilled to again offer a Stop Motion Animation Workshop on Saturday, April 7 at Union South (see Today In The Union for exact location) in partnership with Madison Public Library.

Using markers, whiteboards and props, each participant will create their own short stop motion film during this hands-on workshop. All supplies and equipment will be provided. Come with an idea for a story you’d like to tell or make one up on the spot!

The session will be led by Jaime Vache, Madison Public Library librarian, and Luke Bassuener, fourth grade art teacher at Crestwood Elementary School, whose class will screen a stop motion film in the 20th Annual Festival and previously won a Golden Badger Award in 2017.
